In On the Jews and Their Lies, Martin Luther describes the Jews:

4. Forbid rabbis from preaching.
5. Offer no protection to Jews on highways.
6. Prohibit usury and confiscate all Jews' gold and silver.
7. Give young, strong Jews flail, axe, spade, and spindle, and let them earn their bread in the sweat of their brow.
